Embedded Software Engineer

Sentera has an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Engineer. This full-time position will collaborate with a team of multi-functional engineers to design, build, test, and deliver world-class remote sensing products for our customers in the precision agriculture market.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will actively participate in all phases of the embedded software development cycle, from inception to delivery to long-term support. Candidates should have 5+ years of industry experience developing embedded software.

Geospatial Technician – Surveying Emphasis

Sentera has an immediate opening for a Geospatial Technician with an emphasis on surveying. This full-time candidate will have knowledge, experience, and interest in the fields of land surveying, geospatial data processing, and geospatial analysis and be able to apply these skills toward surveying farm fields and analyzing images of farm fields captured by drones.

This position is part of the Data Science team working alongside agronomists, software engineers, and machine learning scientists to quantify what’s happening in farmers’ fields. Extensive experience with GPS data collection, corrections, and post-processing is of primary importance. Mastery of GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS is crucial to this role.
