24 Jul Sentera Features Industry-leading Precision Ag Solutions at InfoAg 2017
Purpose-built Solutions for Agronomists, Crop Consultants, Growers + Ag Companies
During InfoAg 2017, Sentera will showcase the latest in remote sensing solutions, purpose-built for growers, agronomists, crop consultants, and ag companies. Sentera’s exhibit is located in the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, in St. Louis, Missouri, at booth 27. Show dates are July 25-27.
Relevant for Late Season Decisions
The Sentera exhibit will feature critical crop health management drones, sensors, and AgVault™ Web, Mobile, and Desktop software. Featured solutions have late-season relevancy, assisting agronomists, crop consultants, advisors, and growers as they make decisions in the second half of the growing season.
Near Real Time Crop Health Solutions
Showcased aircraft include the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire drones with normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) upgrades, as well as the company’s latest fixed-wing drone, the Phoenix and quadcopter drone, the Omni.
Also at the Sentera display will be the company’s suite of high-precision sensors, some of the lightest and smallest sensors available to the agriculture industry. Included in the offering are the Sentera Single, Multispectral Double 4K, and Quad sensors, capable of capturing precise, high-resolution color, near-infrared (NIR), NDVI, and normalized difference red edge (NDRE) data.
Sentera will feature its AgVault Web, Mobile, and Desktop Software solution which allows users to leverage precise near real-time crop health data to determine inputs. The software performs independently without an internet connection, allowing users to advise and make data-driven crop health decisions at the field edge.
Live Flight Demo Before InfoAg 2017
On Monday, July 24, Sentera will demonstrate the phenomenal handling and precise image capture of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone with NDVI upgrade during the InfoAg 2017 Field Demonstration. The demonstration will be held at the Spirits of St. Louis Flight Field in St. Charles, Missouri from 2 pm – 4 pm. The DJI Phantom 4 Pro NDVI Upgrade equips a new or existing DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone with Sentera’s Single Sensor, capturing NDVI or NDRE data while retaining the Phantom 4 Pro camera’s functionality.
With over 220 years of combined experience with sensors, software, and drone system development, Sentera is a leading supplier of complete data solutions to the agriculture industry, making it easy for users to bring in-field data off the farm for further analysis. In a single growing season, Sentera’s equipment gathered over hundreds of terabytes of data from 8,000 flights. The company achieved a milestone of collecting more than 25,000,000 acres of images.
