ST. PAUL, Minn. – JUNE 28, 2023 – Sentera, the industry-leading provider of ag analytics, today announced that its UAS Remote Identification solution has been approved by the FAA and is in compliant with the new regulation.
“In complying with the FAA’s remote identification regulation, we’re keeping the gates open for our customers to fly where they need,” said Matt Skelton, aerospace engineer, Sentera. “Our solution offers easy installation and management with our PHX drone system to ensure compliance.”
Sentera’s Remote ID solution will be included with all new PHX fixed-wing drone systems. Existing customers will be able to purchase and install the solution to ensure compliance.
“Given the timing of when drones will need to be compliant with this regulation, we wanted to simplify the installation process – so not to miss any opportunity for data capture during the season,” said Skelton.
Sentera’s PHX is predominantly used for agricultural mapping. By integrating Sentera’s Double 4K Sensor, the PHX fixed-wing drone can capture aerial imagery three times faster than multi-rotor drones on the market. As a result, agronomic leaders can get essential insight into early emergence, in-season crop health, and pre-harvest yields.
Sentera’s Remote ID solution is now available for pre-order. For more information about Sentera’s Remote ID solution and the Sentera PHX, visit https://www.sentera.com.
